Traveller Accommodation Support

Local authorities may support travellers living in social housing, group housing schemes or halting sites.

Tipperary County Council Traveller Accommodation Supports Clinics

To support the rollout of the Traveller Accommodation Programme (2024-2029) and to assist members of the travelling community in meeting their accommodation needs.

Tipperary County Council’s traveller liaison officers will provide local clinics across the county on an ongoing basis.

The aim of these clinics will be primarily to support travellers in relation to Housing and Housing related matters such as assistance with completion of housing support forms, rent forms and other associated paperwork. These workshops also enable members of the Travelling Community to discuss matters relating to the maintenance and upkeep of their current accommodation or updates to open applications.

The Clinics are run weekly by Tipperary County Council’s Traveller Liaison Officers.

To make an appointment please contact Tipperary County Council’s Customer Service by phone at 0818-06-5000 or by        e-mail at customerservices@tipperarycoco.ie indicating the location of the clinic you wish to attend. A member of the housing team will contact you back to agree a date and time for the appointment.
