INTENTION TO CLOSE THE L67045 CONNOLLY PARK,CARRICK ON SUIR, CO.TIPPERARY

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:
ROAD TO
BE CLOSED The L67045 Connolly Park, Carrick on Suir, Co.Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 08:00hrs on Tuesday 02 January 2024 to 20:00hrs on Friday 02 February 2024 .
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Via Waterford road L6718 and St.Mollerans L6719 from either direction.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the laying of new services for ESB

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh not later than 12 noon on Thursday 30 November 2023 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie

Temporary Traffic Management on the R639 Ladyswell,Cashel,Co.Tipperary.
From the 21st of November 2023 to the 22nd of November 2023 for road resurfacing.
From 08.00hrs to 18.00hrs for the duration of the works.
Stop and Go System in place on each point of the Roundabout,Access for local traffic will be maintained.

Decision To Close Junction 22 Roscrea on the M7 Motorway Co.Tipperary.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROAD TO 
BE CLOSED:    Junction 22 (Roscrea ) Eastbound On-Slip

PERIOD OF 
CLOSURE:    09.00hrs to 16.00hrs on Tuesday the 14th of November 2023 

ALTERNATIVE 
ROUTES:   

 •   Traffic approaching J22 from N62 Northbound – Diversion Route: N62 Northbound, R445 to Borris-in-Ossory, R435 to M7 J21 (Borris-in-Ossory), rejoin M7 Eastbound
•   Traffic approaching J22 from N62 Southbound – Diversion Route: M7 Westbound to M7 J23 (Moneygall), rejoin M7 Eastbound

REASON FOR CLOSURE:    To facilitate the replacement of the VRS Barriers as a matter of urgency

From 07.00hrs to 12.00hrs on the 13th of November 2023 due to tree down.
Diversion will be in place. Local Access Only. Expect delays.

Tipperary County Council’s Severe Weather Assessment Team met again on Monday 13 November to review the current status following the severe weather/Storm Debi Red Alert which was in place for Tipperary overnight. The county remains on a Yellow wind and rain warning until 15.00 today.

Please note that Tipperary has now been escalated to a red wind warning between 2.00 and 5.00am Monday 13/11/2023.
The orange weather warning remains in place until 10am.

From 07.00hrs to 19.00hrs for the duration of the works.
Convey system will be in operation for the duration of works.

From the 08th of November 2023 to the 14th of November 2023 for Tree Pruning.
From 07.00hrs to 18.00hrs for the duration of the works.
Stop/Go Traffic System in place.
