Dromineer Nenagh Literary Festival

The seventeenth annual Dromineer Nenagh Literary Festival took place from the 1st – 4th October 2020, and despite COVID-19 and prevailing Government restrictions, the festival was a great success. We look forward to another Dromineer Nenagh Literary Festival in 2021.

From its first event in November 2004, this Festival has grown into a much loved and warmly anticipated event in the autumn literary calendar. The festival began as Dromineer Literary Festival and incorporated Nenagh into its name in 2019. This change signifies that many of the festival’s events take place in the town of Nenagh, and without the support of the wider Nenagh community, partner organisations such as Nenagh Arts Centre and local businesses, the festival would not be possible.

Everyone is welcome at the festival. It is your chance to take a break from the everyday, the banal, the ordinary and join other readers to interact and engage with some of our finest writers, poets and storytellers.
