Temporary Traffic Management and Road Closure on Sarsfield Street and Mitchell Street (R873) Nenagh,Co.Tipperary.
From the 27th of February 2024 to the 01st of March 2024 to facilitate the Nenagh One Way System Works.
From 08.00hrs to 18.00hrs for the duration of the works.

Diversions as follows:

Traffic from St Conlans Road (R494-171) and Limerick Road (R445-10) will be diverted by Ashe Road (R445-12)

Traffic from Kenyon Street/Thurles Road (R498-223) and Dublin Road (R445-112) will be diverted on to Pearse Street (R497-177) and towards Ashe Road (R445-12)

Local and Business Access only will be maintained to Sarsfield Street, Mitchell Street (R873-0) and Saints Johns Place (L1230-0) for the duration of the works.

Decision To Close The M8 Northbound On – Ramp And Northbound Off-Ramp At Junction 10, Co.Tipperary As A Matter Of Urgency
NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:
ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: The M8 Northbound on – ramp and Northbound off- ramp at Junction 10
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 20.00hrs on Sunday 18th of February 2024 to 05.00hrs on Wednesday 21st of February 2024.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: • Traffic Travelling Northbound looking to access the N24 going towards Clonmel/Waterford should proceed to Junction 9, then re-enter the M8 Southbound and exit at Junction 10.
• Traffic Travelling Westbound on the N24 planning to join the M8 Northbound should divert along the R639 through New Inn to Junction 9.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate utilities survey works

CLOSURE: 00:00hrs on Monday 11 March 2024 to 00:00hrs on Friday 17 May 2024.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling west towards Holycross should divert towards Thurles on the N62. Turn left onto the L-4017, Clongour and left again onto the R659 in the direction of Holycross.

Traffic travelling east towards Moycarky should divert towards Thurles on the R659, turning right onto the L-4017 and right again onto the N62 towards Horse and Jockey.

All diversion routes will be fully signed.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the laying of a new watermain

Traffic travelling from the Davis Road to Irishtown is via the Old Waterford Road, Gas House Bridge, Raheen Road, Old Bridge, Dungarvan Road and Convent Road.

Traffic travelling from Mary Street to the Old Bridge is via Queen Street, Western Road, Connolly Park, Convent Road and Dungarvan Road.

Local access will be granted for residents.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
