Culture Night Tipperary 2024

Culture Night Tipperary 2024 attracted an audience of over 3000 people on the evening of Friday, September 20th, collaborating closely with arts and cultural partners, the Tipperary Arts Office developed and coordinated 38 events, across 12 towns and villages. Tipperary came alive with a vibrant programme of live performances, workshops, tours, screenings and exhibitions. Events were held in Clonmel, Nenagh, Templemore, Carrick on Suir, Cahir, Fethard, Borrisokane, Thurles, Tipperary Town, Cloughjordan, Cashel and Roscrea.

Tipperary Arts Office in partnership with When Next We Meet Festival and Clonmel Junction Arts Festival presented the inagural "ENTER THE NIGHT" event as part of Tipperary's Culture Night LATE programming, drawing over 1000 people to the Kickham Plaza, Clonmel over the course of the evening. Headliners Houseplants made a highly anticipated return to Clonmel and the dynamic duo of Irish music legends Paul Noonan (Bell X1) and Daithi did not disappoint. Festivities began at 5pm with a workshop led by artist Mags Rudnicka at the South Tipperary Arts Centre Chapel, where more than 160 children crafted harvest creatues. Later, performances by From Out the Land, Eve Whelan, The Line, MDR and Vale filled the night with original music. The event culminated with Houseplants delivering a sensational performance, leaving the crowd energised with their signature blend of heartfelt electronic music.
